I woke up at 4 a.m. and got approximately five hours of sleep in total.
I watched my best friends, my other half, a huge piece of my heart drive away, and not just for vacation.
I sat around with a permanent headache and puffy eyes, thanks to all the tears and the attempts to keep them from falling.
I had occasional bursts of tears every time I remembered there's no going back. (How did we become these people who are separated by so much distance?)
I ate Ben & Jerry's Phish Food for lunch and dinner. (With some other healthier snacks in between. But mostly just the ice cream.) Comfort food is comforting.
I decided to use proper capitalization on the blog. (Yes, I finally put on my big girl pants. I'm still getting used to it. It makes me feel more like a grown up, which is apparently what I am. Although, I'm not sure how that happened either.)
I watched Spain destroy Italy (4–0) in Euro 2012 and become the first team to win three consecutive tournaments. (Euro 2008, World Cup 2010, Euro 2012.) Words cannot describe how much I love this team. (And Fernando Torres. Oh man.) (Also, is this what it feels like to be a sports fan? Except I think this one's better than baseball or American football.)
I wrote a lot. Things that will get published and things that will not get published.
